Hinge Terms, Explained
- Full back plate
- The plate that fastens to the wall is centered behind the hinge. The ‘H’ back plate is a full plate shaped like an H.
- Offset back plate
- The wall plate sits off to one side of the hinge instead of centered behind it.
- Standard duty
- For doors in 3/8″ glass up to 28″ wide.
- Heavy duty
- For doors wider than 28″ and for 1/2″ glass doors.
- Self-centering
- Let the door swing back near closed and it settles into the closed position on its own.
- Self-closing
- The hinge pulls the door shut by itself from an open position.

Square Hinges
Standard-duty hinges are for doors in 3/8″ glass up to 28″ wide. Heavy-duty hinges, marked in red, are for doors wider than 28″ and for 1/2″ glass doors.

Part of the Zero collection. Snap-on covers hide all the mounting hardware, and the door rises 1/4″ as it opens. A second set turns it into a glass-to-glass hinge.

A beveled hinge that is self-centering and holds the door open at 90°. The closed position is easy to set during installation.

Pivot Hinges
Pivot hinges mount at the top and bottom of the door instead of on the wall, and can be paired with a header.
Cardiff Pivot Hinges
Finishes shown for the Senior Cardiff. Other models may vary.
Square-cornered pivot hinges that mount at the top and bottom of the door. Cardiff suits 5/16″–3/8″ glass; Senior Cardiff is for 1/2″.
Prima Pivot Hinges
Finishes shown for the Prima 01 top or bottom mount. Other models may vary.
A beveled pivot hinge that mounts at the top and bottom of the door and works with the Deluxe Header. Self-centering.

Headers & Parts
A header runs across the top of the enclosure to support glass that doesn’t reach the ceiling. Adapter blocks connect pivot hinges to the header.
Deluxe Shower Door Header Kit
Finishes shown for the 95″ kit. Other models may vary.
An aluminum header across the top of the enclosure that supports glass not reaching the ceiling. A narrow 1-1/4″ face keeps the sight line slim. 66″, 95″ and 144″ kits.

EZ-Adjust Shower Door Header Kit
Finishes shown for the 95″ kit. Other models may vary.
A header kit that lets the hinge be adjusted side to side after installation. With Prima PPH06 or Senior Prima SRPPH06 hinges, no hole is drilled through the header for the adapter.

Flat/Flat Profile Deluxe Header Kit
The Deluxe Header in a flat-sided profile for a squarer look. 95″ kit.

Junior Frameless Shower Door Header Kit
A header for 1/4″ glass with a rounded side and a flat side. 98″ length, used with Junior Prima hinges and the Junior adapter block.

Header Adapter Blocks
Finishes shown for the standard block. Other models may vary.
Blocks that let a pivot hinge mount directly into the header. The standard block fits Prima and Cardiff hinges; Senior and Junior blocks fit Senior Prima/Senior Cardiff and Junior Prima.
Header Corners & Brackets
Brass and aluminum corners (90°, 135° and adjustable) and ‘T’ brackets that slide into the slot on top of the Deluxe Header, plus wall-mounting brackets.
