Commercial Window and Glass Replacement
Glass-only replacement in existing commercial window and storefront frames, and complete replacement of aluminum storefront windows.
Serving Northern Virginia Since 1997 · Virginia Class A Glass & Glazing Contractor
Two Separate Services
Glass-only replacement keeps the frame that is already in the wall. We take out the failed or damaged glass and set new glass in the existing frame. We do this in commercial window frames and in aluminum storefront frames.
Complete aluminum storefront window replacement replaces the storefront window itself — frame and glass. It applies to aluminum storefront windows only.
Which service an opening needs depends on the condition of the frame. We look at each opening on site and tell you which one applies.
Not sure whether an opening needs new glass or a new storefront window? We will look at the frame and tell you.
Glass-Only Replacement in Existing Frames
When the frame is still sound, only the glass has to change. Typical reasons building owners and tenants call us:
- Insulated glass units that have fogged between the panes
- Cracked or broken glass
- Changing to a different glass type, such as low-E, tinted or laminated, where the existing frame allows it
We replace glass in existing commercial window frames and in existing aluminum storefront frames. Each opening is measured on site, and the replacement glass is ordered to those measurements and set in the frame you already have.
If an aluminum storefront frame has failed, see complete storefront window replacement below.
Complete Aluminum Storefront Window Replacement
When an aluminum storefront frame has reached the end of its life, new glass alone will not fix it. We remove the existing storefront window and install a new aluminum storefront window, frame and glass, in the opening.
This service covers aluminum storefront windows only. We do not replace other types of commercial window frames; for those openings we offer glass-only replacement in the existing frame.
