Custom Antique Mirror Glass
Serving Northern Virginia since 1997 · Virginia Class A Glass & Glazing Contractor
Antique mirror is new mirror glass with an intentionally aged appearance. Each sheet is hand-finished so the silvering shows soft spots, specks and washes of color, giving feature walls, bars and decorative panels a vintage character. We measure, order and install it for homes and businesses across Northern Virginia.

Heavy dappled grey tones with a bold, almost three-dimensional effect.
Small dark spots across a bright mirror, like an inverted starry sky.

Mottled cobalt-blue color through the silvering for a bold accent.
A light haze of smoke drifting across the surface; one of the subtler patterns.
A warm copper tone across the surface.
Photos are manufacturer product samples. Every sheet is hand-finished, so your mirror will be similar to the sample but never identical, and colors can look different on screen. We confirm availability for your project when we quote.
Where Antique Mirror Works
Feature and Accent Walls
A full or partial antique mirror wall adds depth and soft reflected light to dining rooms, entryways and living spaces.
Bars and Bar Backs
Behind a home bar or a restaurant bar, antique mirror reflects light and bottles with a softer, vintage glow.
Restaurants and Hospitality Interiors
Lobbies, dining rooms and lounges use antique mirror to add warmth and character without a sharp, bright reflection.
Decorative Wall Panels
Panels set into a wall design or framed by trim bring the look in at a smaller scale.
Powder Rooms and Vanity Walls
A lighter pattern still works as a usable mirror while giving a small room a distinctive look.
Dressing Rooms and Closets
Antique mirror on a dressing-room or closet wall adds a boutique feel while still reflecting light.
Antique Mirror Design Ideas
Design ideas showing how antique mirror can be used. Patterns, lighting and furnishings vary from project to project.
Choosing an Antique Mirror Pattern
Start with how much reflection you want. Lighter patterns such as Saturno, Meteora and Bianco e Nero keep more of a usable mirror. Heavier patterns such as Luna, Grigio Argento and Golden Antique are more decorative. Then pick a tone: silver and grey for a cool look, gold and copper (Cometa, Tramonto) for warmth, or color (Policromo, Policromo Cobalto, Arcobaleno) for a bolder accent.
Because each sheet is finished by hand, expect natural variation between a small sample and the finished sheets, and from one sheet to the next on a large wall. That variation is part of the look. Screens also change color, so if you can, compare a physical sample in your own light before deciding.
Antique Mirror FAQs
Is antique mirror glass actually old?
No. It is new mirror glass that is hand-finished to look aged. You get the vintage character without the wear, flaking or damage of an old mirror.
Will my mirror look exactly like the sample?
No two sheets are identical. Each one is hand-finished, so the pattern and color vary from sheet to sheet and across a large wall. Your mirror will be very similar to the sample, but not a perfect copy.
Can antique mirror go in a bathroom?
The manufacturer lists it as suitable for bathrooms and kitchens with typical humidity levels. We will talk through your specific location before you order.
How thick is antique mirror glass?
The patterns on this page are 1/4″ (6 mm) thick.
Do you restore old mirrors or sell framed antique mirrors?
No. We supply and install new antique-style mirror glass. We do not restore vintage mirrors, sell antique furniture or make decorative frames.
